Overview:
The 2026 AmericaView Annual Meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas at the Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. The meeting will be Monday March 30, Tuesday March 31, and Wednesday April 1, 2026.
The deadline for reservations and registration is Sunday February 22, 2026.
Agenda
The Field trip will be a 3 hour tour of the San Antonio Missions. We’ll start at Mission Espada which is the oldest mission, built in 1690. Next, we will tour Mission Concepción, which is the best preserved of all the missions. Then we will tour Mission San Jose, the biggest of all the missions, which was built in 1720. Finally we will stop at The Alamo and explore the grounds.
This guided San Antonio missions tour will provide you an insider look at what life was like in the 18th century, and how these important religious sites have earned their UNESCO World Heritage status. Also, this will be an excellent opportunity to network with other AmericaView members.
We want to let you know that the main pathways and visitor areas are ADA-compliant but the historical interior buildings may be challenging for those with mobility issues. For example, the original flagstone floors are uneven in some areas and some historical interior spaces can be too narrow for a wheelchair. However we have been assured by the tour company that there is plenty to see besides the historical building and the transportation is ADA compliant.
