Earth Observation Lessons for Elementary and Middle School

Each year, AmericaView partners with USGS and NASA to develop an educational poster in celebration of Earth Observation Day. This poster is included in the Earth Science Week Toolkit that goes out to thousands of K-12 educators across the nation. This year, educational lessons were developed that are geared to middle and high school students. New HampshireView created a middle school “Forests from Above and Below” lesson to be used with the 2020 EOD poster. DelawareView created two lessons, one for elementary school and one for middle school, titled “Water: A Global Resource” to be used with the 2021 EOD poster.
