On Monday, April 24th, 2023, AmericaView, in collaboration with G2G Consulting, hosted a virtual Congressional Briefing on the importance of remote sensing (RS) and Earth observation (EO) education. More than 100 individuals registered for the event and more than 80 attended. The briefing was recorded and will be made available.

Briefing topics included the background of AmericaView, the importance of the Landsat program, student research from AlaskaView and IdahoView, and StateView member discussions from MinnesotaView and IdahoView.

AmericaView was also pleased to welcome and thanks Congressman Dave Joyce (R-OH-14) and Congresswoman Betty McCollum (D-MN-4) for their remarks on the importance of Earth observation education as well as the successes of AmericaView.
